The Association of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of Odisha (AOGO) was the first society of Odisha started under the dynamic stewardship of Late Prof. Jyotshna Dei of Cuttack in the year 1994. It is a non profit organization dedicated to Maternal and Child Health.
AOGO was the first society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to be started in Odisha. This society was chaired by doyens in the field like Prof. Jyotshna Dei as Founder President. This organization of Obstetricians and Gyanecologists is dedicated to maternal and child health, safe motherhood and family Welfare apart from teaching and training post graduates and junior doctors. Over the years, the society has been rendering commendable service in the field of maternal and child health and family welfare.
The activities focuses around better birth initiative, contraception, cancer screening and other socially oriented obstetrics and Gynaecological problems.
